Friday - Big Brother After Dark, Overnight and Saturday Morning

The evening brought us a group meditation session led by Frankie.  For anyone just tuning in to BBAD, it was probably a "what the hell?" moment.  After he calmed them all down so much it took a little while for a few other them to really wake back up.

After that we have various conversations going on concerning the re-nom.  The consensus is that Joey will be put up in Donny's place.  Joey finally starts to try to do a little talking on her own behalf.  It really appears that the heinous act she committed was attempting to start an all girl alliance.  Seriously?  I'm guessing this is just something to be able to blame it on, since she wasn't the only one with that idea.

Somewhere around 10 pm (BBtime) Joey's upset stomach gets the better of her and she pukes her guts out right in front of Devin.  Poor guy!  Some of it went in the bowl she had, which she then spills onto the floor with the other vomit drops she blew about the room.  Not sure if she is sick or if her nerves are getting the better of her.

Zach seems to have calmed down some of that abrasive behavior.  Glad to see he has, it could have cost him the game.  Frankie has wooed the entire house it seems.  I'm starting to think those "meditations" are sessions he is using to hypnotize them.  It like a Frankie version of The Mist!  Absolutely amazing - this guy has the best social game, hands down.  He is hugging everyone.  Even Caleb acted jealous of being left out of the good night hug between Frankie and Devin.  (They had a group hug to include him - awwwww.....gag!)

Right now nobody seems too volatile.  I don't see anyone with a real fighter personality.  NO Willie's in this crew for sure.  Caleb keeps this really intense look most of the time.  Check out his body language.  He doesn't look happy.  I don't know if it is the stress of having to make the re-nom or if it is his pining away for Amber, who barely acknowledges him.  His constant longing for Amber is a little sickening to tell the truth.  If he doesn't get his shit together she could cost him the game.  NOT what I was expecting from Mr. Manly-Man.

Around 10:30 or so they finally released these caged animals into the yard.  Like a bunch of birds they flew out flapping and squawking.  One observation I've made is that Cody is much quieter than I would have expected.  He is almost as quiet as Nicole.  Not sure if it will stay that way, but right now he may be trying to lay low a little.

Everyone is noticing how overcome with thoughts of Amber Caleb has become.  He has gone on about her to anyone that will sit still long enough.  Personally, I'm starting to switch screens once I see him get started.  I find it too pathetic to follow - sorry.

Frankie leads a group dance class with some of the girls.  He really is a good dancer and teacher.

Some of the guys are together talking.  The topic of fighting comes up and Caleb reveals that he and his friends never back down from fights and always win.  In fact he says that his buddies are the type to swing a baseball bat right in someone's face. Hayden says he'd rather leave a place than get into a fight.  He is a calm guy and this goes right along with the other behavior we see from him...likeable and not a trouble maker.  Zach brings up the ugly fight he was in that cost him his senior year at school.  A lot of damages and medical bills.  As soon as litigation and punitive damages get brought up the BB production puts a stop to the conversation.

The conversations are mostly about general stuff.  Caleb shows off his one-handed cartwheel.  They're all just playing around and enjoying be out of the confines of the house.

Then Zach tried to talk to America.  I LOVE it when we get a player that addresses the audience!  He tells us that the Bomb Squad is a joke.  He then names the eight people in the alliance and laughs about having an alliance of that size.  He appears to have full faith and trust in his and Frankie's alliance of two.  I hope this isn't a mistake.  Before he can get too much out though, Frankie sees the camera look at Zach and decides to come see why.  Of course this cuts things short and the masses seem to follow Frankie, turning their party of two into three, then four and so on.

I'm pretty sure that all of the guys except Derrick and Donny have pretty serious man-cruches on Frankie.  What the hell is this guy doing?  lol  At one point Frankie gives Devin a ride on his back as he crawls on all fours.  Halfway across the yard they switch places and Frankie rides Devin.  This is just getting weird!  rofl

Zach mentions he'd like to make a move on Nicole.  Frankie says he should wait until he has the HOH room.  At some point Frankie asks Zach if he is Hispanic ... Zach replies with laughter and says "No, I'm Jewish!"  lol  Zach also mentions to Frankie that he is having to hold in a lot in the house. Frankie agrees and says he never expected to have to play this hard this fast.  Victoria joins them, breaking up any serious game talk.

The conversation turns to general stuff...friends, relationships and the like.  Frankie reveals that he has had three "traumatic" breakups...the kind that involved "screaming, flailing, emotional" breakups.  Victoria mentions something about a showmance with Frankie and Zach says he is already in a showmance with him.  These two remind me of a combination of the Matt & Reagan relationship and the Dr. Will & Boogie bro-mance.  I tried to switch cameras to Caleb, but he was STILL blabbing on about Amber!

More general relationship talk from Victoria and about her expectations for a man, married life and motherhood.  Hayden and Frankie discuss their first impressions of the twists, entering the house and the like.  Devin and Frankie have an extended scene where they use pretty bad British accents.  They are all just having fun and enjoying being outside.

Several of them stayed up throughout the night.  Then there was a shift change so to speak.  Our late nighters finally decided to rest and some of those that slept got up earlier than the others in the morning.

The morning has been slow.  A lot of primping in front of mirrors and prepping for pool time.  Nothing notable going on concerning game talk.  Since they're just relaxing for now I will too and I'll be back with more soon.  If you're looking to see them while they're all still enjoying one another, you might want to watch now.  Once someone actually gets voted out the feeling might change some.

Big Brother (BB16) Premiere Night Two - Thursday Recap

Here is your Big Brother Big Mouth Breakdown on the #BB16 Premiere - Night Two

We were so ready to get the other group of eight into the house to get this thing started and in full gear.  We know most of you have watched this so we'll give an abbreviated recap of this network show since the live feeds (#BBLF) will be on soon and require our full attention.

The show started off with the usual meet-the-new house guests.  Only a couple of real stand out moments in that portion.  We see Victoria's arrogance with her multiple statements about how wonderful and beautiful she thinks she is.  Caleb fancies himself a "metrosexual cowboy".  Christine says she knows she cannot win without getting blood on her hands at some point and is prepared to do that when the time comes.  Jocasta, well, we can just sum that up with the word overzealous.  Zach came in blazing with some statements like " I don't need friends because all I care about is myself." When answering what kind of people annoy him, he answered with, and I paraphrase, people that talk, eat, sleep, and breath.  While I literally LOL at this, I know it may be his downfall.  It worked when Dr. Will did it, but Jeremy suffered a much different fate, so only time will tell.  Hayden even calls himself goofy, so we pretty much know what to expect there.  He claims to have been a good student, so maybe he is hiding a big brain under all that hair, we'll see.

The second group enters with all of the usual screaming and craziness.  Christine is a super fan, so she is in awe just entering the house.  Caleb locks his sights on Amber early on.  Every time the door opens Frankie prances over to meet and greet.  Some DR comments reveal Zach stating he doesn't "give a damn about meeting these people", Nicole is already worried about alliances being challenged, and Donny is just worried he can't remember who all these people are.  After everyone had settled in a bit, the big group introductions take place.  Derrick is hiding his job as a police officer, but drawing on his undercover skills to pull off selling himself as a Parks & Rec Coordinator.  So far, nobody seems to doubt him. Cody reveals he is eying Britney's body, but I'm not sure if she has noticed yet.

Then they get to talking more.  Frankie is the first we see to head off in a direction of a side alliance with someone from the new group.  He and Victoria have hit it off and Frankie wants them to work together.  Paola starts to feel out the Caleb situation, feeling that because he is "the other" big personality in the house, he may want to target her.  Say what?  Really?  I don't think Caleb is feeling threatened by anyone right now, least of all her.

Donny uses his rather unusual talent of mimicking cricket sounds to "distract" the other HGs.  He says he'd rather them view him as a funny guy rather than a guy that is good at the game.  It is a little odd, but his housemates seem quite impressed and intrigued by this.  I have to admit, I am a little too.

Zach strikes again when talking with Frankie in the bathroom.  He calls him out by mentioning he is familiar with Pine Crest, the school Frankie had attended.  He points out that the school has a reputation (for snobby, privileged, rich kids).  Frankie looked less than amused by this and in DR says that Zach should watch himself pissing off the HOH like that.

We finally get to the HOH competition.  It was called "Over the Coals".  The HGs wrapped around a big BBQ spit and hung on for dear life...well, some of them did.  Derrick went with a bear hug method instead of using the handles they could use.  Worked well for a while.  Joey sat back oogling at Caleb's butt.  Victoria was the first to drop.  At this point Frankie still seems to think he will be working with whoever wins this HOH and was disappointed that Victoria dropped so fast.   BB production decides to make things get a little slick by squirting the rest of them with a good dose of BBQ sauce.  Britney didn't hang on long after that, and Jocasta went shortly after her.  Following that, Christine looses her grip and hits the ground.  Zach, deciding that he wants to lay low, lets go and drops by choice.  Derrick was thinking along the same lines and told us in DR that he'd stayed on long enough to show he was strong, but not so long to seem threatening, and he too chose to drop.  This leaves only Hayden and Caleb hanging on.  The spit stops with the guys hanging off the side.  Caleb takes this opportunity to show everyone just how NOT hard this task is for him by showing off in a feats of strength display.  Hayden, probably realizing Caleb had this in the bag, fell off.  Caleb is named the second HOH.

Julie then explains the whole Battle of the Block thing.  To be honest, I'm a little unclear on this part myself, so I'm not going to go into too much detail with that.  In short, the four nominees will battle one another and one pair will get off the block and one HOH will be named.

The Team America votes are in.  The first HG to be placed on the secret Team America alliance is Joey.  Each of the three people in this alliance will be given missions to complete.  If completed, they will get $5000.  The votes are open now for the second HG to join this alliance and that vote will be revealed on the live show next Thursday.

As we look in on the house guests at the end of the show we see Frankie riding Caleb's back through the house.  All I can say is that gave new meaning to the whole "Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy" thing.

That's it for the Night Two Big Brother Premiere Recap.  We'll get another blog up going over the first night of live feeds as soon as we can.  Boy this is gonna' be a loooong night!  See you soon!

Big BB16 Twist Revealed

So Julie Chen finally made the big Big Brother 16 Twist announcement...we sat through several excruciating minutes (17 I think, felt like an hour at least) to get to it. Let's just say it leaves a lot to be desired.

The Big Brother Big Mouth breakdown:   The big #BB16 Twist starts with two HOHs every week...each HOH will nominate 2 HGs to sit on the block, giving us four people on the chopping block each week.  Here is the big piece that could actually make this interesting (or not, depending on how they utilize it) - neither HOH is automatically safe, instead having to participate in some sort of challenge called Battle of the Block.  Hmm...I'll reserve judgement until we see how this works.  Oh yeah, and they claim that we, the audience, aka "Team America", will get to have a major influence (note that I said influence, not impact) on the game...again, let's see what they actually do with this.

For me, the hype about revealing this big Big Brother 16 Twist was by far bigger than the actual announcement...we already figured out there were two distinct groups within the house (unless you missed those pics everywhere showing two memory walls).  So a battle between the two - well, no big shocker.  Tell us what you think...after all that IS what this blog is about!  And be sure to join BB Big Mouth on facebook for all the BB16 action! too!  An no BS PC comments either - we want to know what you really think!
