Big Brother 16 Power of Veto Zingbot Comp Spoiler #POV Aug 16

The Power of Veto Comp this week was the highly anticipated Zingbot Comp and the winner is Frankie!

As #HOH and #Veto winner, what will Frankie decided to do?  Choices are limited, with Victoria, Zach or Derrick as his only replacement nom choices.  Will he follow through on Derrick's plan to take Victoria out or will he wise up and remove Derrick from the house while he still has a chance??

Big Brother Nominations Spoiler - Nominated By A Bag of Skittles #BB16 Aug 15

The nominations are in and the guys chose to stick with the Skittles draw.

Last night, Zach said he really didn't feel like he was okay with throwing a comp paired with Donny.  (Good call man!)  Even when they tried to convince him, he stood his ground.  It was then that they decided they'd draw Skittles to see who would go on the block.

The first drawn would sit beside Donny and throw the Battle of the Block comp.  The next two drawn would be the other nominees.

The Skittles ultimately decided that Christine would go on the block next to Donny.  Caleb and Cody were drawn for the other noms.  It was then that Zach said, why didn't we just do THIS a half-hour ago??  LOL  (Exactly what I was thinking - why did Derrick want it to be Zach up there again anyway?)

The feeds are back from video clips and it seems the #HOH s did exactly as the Skittles directed.

Frankie nominated Caleb and Cody.
Derrick nominated Christine and Donny.

According to the information I've heard, I believe at this point Donny is the intended target.  Derrick says that IF Donny wins #POV , he will put Victoria up as the renom...but would he really?  Personally, I don't trust that he would.  But today is only Friday...with a whole week ahead who knows what will become of their plan?  Let's see if they can get through the Battle of the Block today according to plan.  I mean, look what production did giving Frankie that #BOB that he could actually accomplish alone easier!!  Might they do the same for Donny?  We'll see...

Nicole and Christine HOH Nominations Big Brother August 8 Nomination Spoiler

Nominations are in!

Christine has nominated Donny and Zach
Nicole has nominated Frankie and Caleb

Right now the plan is for Caleb to throw the Battle of the Block competition, allowing Frankie to remain on the block and hopefully be voted out this week.  But this IS Big Brother, so who knows what will actually happen.  Since Caleb is usually loyal to a fault, he will likely do as he said.

The bigger question is Will Team America's mission blow this whole plan up before the end of the week?  It could, or it could become another Mission Aborted.  Only time will tell...and a veto comp, of course!

Sad news about Frankie Grande's grandfather

There is sad news to report today. Last night Frankie lost his grandfather.

I have no information yet regarding how or when Frankie will be informed. Our thoughts and prayers are with Frankie and his family at this difficult time.

We have heard Frankie speak very lovingly and admiringly about his grandfather.  Just the other day he was telling how important his grandfather is in his life. He explained how much of his life today and the opportunities and successes he has had have been a result of his grandfather's involvement in his life.  He said he'd not have had the opportunities he has without the love and support of his grandparents from childhood on.

I'm sure this will be very devastating news for Frankie and can't imagine that it wouldn't take him off of the show.  When his grandfather became very ill recently it seems that the family chose to not have Frankie informed.  I feel so sorry for him knowing his last chances to speak and be with his grandfather were taken from him like that.  I can't imagine that they'd take his chance to pay his respects away too.

UPDATE:  According to an article on TMZ, CBS will NOT be informing Frankie about his grandfather's passing.  Based on the Big Brother Live Feeds, this information is accurate.  I'll say I am more than shocked and saddened at the way this is being handled, and keep the rest of my opinions about this to myself.

Just moments ago I heard Frankie saying to Brittany that he wondered if his sister, mother and grandparents were in LA together watching and "hanging out" until the finale.   He obviously felt his grandfather was in good enough shape to have traveled like that...

Nominations Spoiler Big Brother 16 July 18 Team America and BB16 Noms

Cody and Frankie have made their nominations!

Jocasta, Brittany, Amber and Victoria were nominated.

Cody noms =Brittany & Victoria
Frankie noms = Amber & Jocasta

Team America - Mission 2

Team America has chosen Amber as their "physical threat" to put on the block.  I know, I know...but don't shoot the messenger.  I think she is a big BS choice too.  Maybe CBS could let us vote on if Amber is a suitable choice or if we want someone else on a re-nom.  That would be good...but alas, nobody asked me what I thought!  LOL

Zach Blew Up After the POV Ceremony And the Game Finally Begins Monday July 7 Big Brother 16 Live Feeds

Holy crap!  There is no better way to start this post.  Zach finally blew his top when Devin took Brittany off the block and put him up.  Now, lets backtrack real quick to yesterday.  (Insert dreamy flashback music here)

Yesterday and throughout last night Zach began to suffer from some sort of BB breakdown. It may have been brought on by homesickness, or maybe lack of sleep and food as he is a have not this week, or maybe it was pain from realizing his boy Frankie was standing behind him twisting the knife for Devin.  But either way, it was SAD!

Last night things were looking grim...Zach had dared to go up against Devin by confronting him about saying he doesn't trust him.  Obviously in a moment of madness he told Devin (quite vehemently) that he thought he should go ahead and take Brittany down and put him up in her place.  Since Devin was already planning on taking Brittany down after deciding he not only did not dislike her, but in reality has a crush on her.  WTF?  Devin is friggin bi-polar! But anyway, Zach appeared to be a victim of his own demise.  He had even retired to the living room couch, assuming his position for burial...all indications were that poor Zach had all but given up the ghost.

All I could think of was Zach interview where he said he'd lie, cheat, steal and even kill to win the game.  I literally yelled "Get up! It's f-ing KILL TIME ZACH!!!"  But he didn't hear me....

Now let's jump ahead to today.  It started for Paola when Devin woke her up to let her know that DR was calling her...and then clued her in that he'd not be honoring their agreement concerning pulling her off the block.  While assuring her she wasn't going home though, it went over like a ton of bricks. Then came the highly anticipated POV Ceremony.  Lord Devin stood before his fellow house guests and gave what is likely to be a very lengthy speech.  We know this since he spent a loooong time practicing his bizarre speech with the best audience he has ever had.
While the ceremony was taking place, Zach and Paola had a bit of an airing of grievances.  Sounds like Zach had quite the list too!  He has cast doubt on Caleb, Amber, Devin and Frankie by calling them untrustworthy.  He has also called Paola out as a liar that tried to throw the POV competition at Devin's request, of course.  But of course, nothing happens in the house that isn't part of Devin's will, right?

When feeds return following the POV Ceremony, Frankie is not too happy with Zach.  Frankie says things like " I have no idea why you would do that to me...just terrible."  Really Frankie?  Really?  You have no idea?

Frankie makes his rounds through the house guests telling them all how he can't believe what Zach has done.  He talks to everyone and his shpiel changes depending on the audience.  Caleb and he get together on more than one occasion to Zach bash.  Caleb even says at one point that he feels Zach was threatening him in his speech.  ROFL!!!

To cut out a lot of the BS, Hayden was asked to join the Bomb Squad alliance.  He didn't want to agree to this, but in usual Devin fashion, he pushes until Hayden says what he needs to in order to be let out of captivity.  It absolutely delighted me to hear Frankie say "This got so fucked so fast!!"  ROFL LMAO  I LOVE this!  Today is a perfect example of why all of us BB addicts continue to buy live feeds every year.  There are so many conversations going on you can't keep up.  You can read 10 blogs on this and every one will have something new because it is impossible for anyone to get all of this insanity!  Zach not only recovered from his terrible funk from yesterday, but he came up swinging and screaming too!  Way to go!!  Now the game is really on!

Someone in there said earlier that Zach had "reset the game" with his speech.  I don't know about that, but I do know he rocked the boat so hard a few almost fell off!

Right now, or as of the last moment I was watching, Zach believes he is being backed by Derrick, Cody, Nicole, Brittany and Hayden.  Frankie has run about saying a lot to a lot of people, but at this point I think he is letting Zach think he will keep him without any real intention of doing so.  (This is because Frankie takes turns sticking his head up Devin and Caleb's asses repeatedly to keep them happy.  Not sure if he is afraid of them or looking for a little action in the HOH room...he and Devin did mention that the night the three of them slept up there was the only "action" the house has seen.  And some specific touches were mentioned...but I'll say no more on that -- it kinda makes me feel dirty!  lol  Anyway, Zach will need 7 votes to stay this week.

Oh yeah, there was a pretty heated fight between Paola and Zach earlier too!  It happened around 3pm or so.  They were getting loud and one by one everyone around them dismissed themselves from the situation.  Then DR calls Zach in and after he returns they have a civil talk and Zach becomes Mr. Understanding.  Wonder what went on in that DR room?  But the situation appears to be diffused between them now.  They even got comfortable and the other HGs slowly and calmly returned to the couches.
The newly formed Team America alliance members, Donny, Derrick and Frankie, have been finding multiple opportunities to get together to swap ideas.  Derrick is telling them that obviously America believes the three of them can trust one another...lol.  Poor misguided Derrick if he really believes that...but somehow I think he is smarter than that and just trying to use this on the other two.

So much chaos today and the game talk is still going.  Should be a great night for the live feeds (#BBLF) and Big Brother After Dark (#BBAD) .  We will be back with more - time to watch our monkeys dance!!

Caleb Amber Devin and the Big House Meeting - Big Brother 16

After locked down in the BB16 house for a few hours our HGs got restless.  By the end of the evening, Caleb and Amber talked things out (as if there is so much to talk about - she DOESN'T like you Caleb! No discussion should be needed.).  Amber and Caleb agree that Devin just misunderstood a conversation that he walked into already in progress.  Personally I think that is a load of crap! I think Devin knew exactly what he was doing when he told Caleb all of that stuff.

Caleb and Amber went off to discuss the whole thing once it came to light that Devin had passed along info that Amber said had not been said about Caleb in particular.  She claims she was talking to Paola about what their turn-offs in a guy are...which is when she said guys that once you get to know them, are really just all about themselves and completely self centered, etc.  Now if she wasn't talking about Caleb but Devin thought she was - doesn't that mean that Devin feels that description fit Caleb??  Think about that Caleb -- obviously Devin heard that description and was so sure it was about you that he even repeated it!  Some buddy, huh?

Devin then decided he needed to call a house meeting.  Why?  Who the hell knows!  He stood before them (well, everyone except Caleb and Amber, who were still in the other room finding 5000 ways to say the same friggin thing over and over), and then proceeded to speak with a shaky voice and vision blurred by the  tears he managed to squeeze out, and told what a good guy he really is and how he wants to confess to the lies and deceit he has been involved in.  He then proceeded to make a joke of Caleb's HOH by stating that he, Devin, had forced Caleb to nominate Donny.  Say what?  Yes folks, Devin tried to claim that he was personally responsible for Donny having been on the block, because of the suspicions he had concerning Donny's true identity.  Devin also uses his daughter as the reason for why he wants to play a clean game.  Again, do these HGs know what game they are playing?  How many of them are even familiar with Big Brother?  This is like the Kumbaya Crew or something!  The next time I hear Amber say "I just want us to all get along and be happy" I just might vomit!  But I digress, Devin totally uses his daughter (you know, the one he hasn't even seen in 3 and a half months PRIOR to entering the BB House?  Yes, that child that he just loves so much and is so close to and wants to make proud -- try actually being present in her life Devin - THAT might mean something!).

Then, as quickly as his meeting was pulled together, he was done and swiftly stole away to the safety of the HOH bathroom.  We were treated to the shot of an empty HOH room with audio feeding in from the bathroom providing Devin's suppressed sobs and loud sniffling.  What a joke!  Does he think anyone believes it?  (I know Derrick doesn't - heard him telling Frankie and Zach that he thought the whole display was BS.)

They also decided to let the Have Nots eat again.  It was a truly joyous occasion for them, celebrated with everything from pasta to pizza and some beautiful burgers.  A full out feast!

On another note, we heard Victoria attempting to talk game with Amber in the bed.  More like trying to explain the game to Amber really.  Not that it took.  I think Victoria wants to play the game, but she is just a little to fussy to actually get down and dirty and get into it.  Mentally she is ready, but she just can't stand the thought of actually breaking a sweat to compete really.

All around the house there were discussions going on after Devin's whole confession.  He may have just drawn a great big flashing target on his back...it was there already for some of the HGs, but I believe it now has a neon flashing bulls-eye in the center.  We can only hope!

As long as we're talking about hope here...I also hope to see both Amber and Caleb on the block and leaving asap.  I can't stand either of them!  He is sooooo pathetic that it sickens me.  And Amber has no idea what she is doing in this house!  Sure she is nice and sweet and all that crap, but this is Big Brother - maybe she should have tried to get on It Takes a Church instead...that may have been a better fit.

Concerning the first live eviction, everything still points to Joey walking out that door.  If Paola went instead I'd be quite shocked...but it IS BB, so anything could happen...who knows what actually goes on on Thursdays when they block out our feeds for the better part of the day!

We'll be back soon with more on what is really going on in the Big Brother 16 house.  Be sure to like us on facebook -- get our posts, comments, BB alerts, observations, interesting screen caps and a place to tell us WHAT YOU REALLY THINK about what goes on inside the BB house!

Friday - Big Brother After Dark, Overnight and Saturday Morning

The evening brought us a group meditation session led by Frankie.  For anyone just tuning in to BBAD, it was probably a "what the hell?" moment.  After he calmed them all down so much it took a little while for a few other them to really wake back up.

After that we have various conversations going on concerning the re-nom.  The consensus is that Joey will be put up in Donny's place.  Joey finally starts to try to do a little talking on her own behalf.  It really appears that the heinous act she committed was attempting to start an all girl alliance.  Seriously?  I'm guessing this is just something to be able to blame it on, since she wasn't the only one with that idea.

Somewhere around 10 pm (BBtime) Joey's upset stomach gets the better of her and she pukes her guts out right in front of Devin.  Poor guy!  Some of it went in the bowl she had, which she then spills onto the floor with the other vomit drops she blew about the room.  Not sure if she is sick or if her nerves are getting the better of her.

Zach seems to have calmed down some of that abrasive behavior.  Glad to see he has, it could have cost him the game.  Frankie has wooed the entire house it seems.  I'm starting to think those "meditations" are sessions he is using to hypnotize them.  It like a Frankie version of The Mist!  Absolutely amazing - this guy has the best social game, hands down.  He is hugging everyone.  Even Caleb acted jealous of being left out of the good night hug between Frankie and Devin.  (They had a group hug to include him - awwwww.....gag!)

Right now nobody seems too volatile.  I don't see anyone with a real fighter personality.  NO Willie's in this crew for sure.  Caleb keeps this really intense look most of the time.  Check out his body language.  He doesn't look happy.  I don't know if it is the stress of having to make the re-nom or if it is his pining away for Amber, who barely acknowledges him.  His constant longing for Amber is a little sickening to tell the truth.  If he doesn't get his shit together she could cost him the game.  NOT what I was expecting from Mr. Manly-Man.

Around 10:30 or so they finally released these caged animals into the yard.  Like a bunch of birds they flew out flapping and squawking.  One observation I've made is that Cody is much quieter than I would have expected.  He is almost as quiet as Nicole.  Not sure if it will stay that way, but right now he may be trying to lay low a little.

Everyone is noticing how overcome with thoughts of Amber Caleb has become.  He has gone on about her to anyone that will sit still long enough.  Personally, I'm starting to switch screens once I see him get started.  I find it too pathetic to follow - sorry.

Frankie leads a group dance class with some of the girls.  He really is a good dancer and teacher.

Some of the guys are together talking.  The topic of fighting comes up and Caleb reveals that he and his friends never back down from fights and always win.  In fact he says that his buddies are the type to swing a baseball bat right in someone's face. Hayden says he'd rather leave a place than get into a fight.  He is a calm guy and this goes right along with the other behavior we see from him...likeable and not a trouble maker.  Zach brings up the ugly fight he was in that cost him his senior year at school.  A lot of damages and medical bills.  As soon as litigation and punitive damages get brought up the BB production puts a stop to the conversation.

The conversations are mostly about general stuff.  Caleb shows off his one-handed cartwheel.  They're all just playing around and enjoying be out of the confines of the house.

Then Zach tried to talk to America.  I LOVE it when we get a player that addresses the audience!  He tells us that the Bomb Squad is a joke.  He then names the eight people in the alliance and laughs about having an alliance of that size.  He appears to have full faith and trust in his and Frankie's alliance of two.  I hope this isn't a mistake.  Before he can get too much out though, Frankie sees the camera look at Zach and decides to come see why.  Of course this cuts things short and the masses seem to follow Frankie, turning their party of two into three, then four and so on.

I'm pretty sure that all of the guys except Derrick and Donny have pretty serious man-cruches on Frankie.  What the hell is this guy doing?  lol  At one point Frankie gives Devin a ride on his back as he crawls on all fours.  Halfway across the yard they switch places and Frankie rides Devin.  This is just getting weird!  rofl

Zach mentions he'd like to make a move on Nicole.  Frankie says he should wait until he has the HOH room.  At some point Frankie asks Zach if he is Hispanic ... Zach replies with laughter and says "No, I'm Jewish!"  lol  Zach also mentions to Frankie that he is having to hold in a lot in the house. Frankie agrees and says he never expected to have to play this hard this fast.  Victoria joins them, breaking up any serious game talk.

The conversation turns to general stuff...friends, relationships and the like.  Frankie reveals that he has had three "traumatic" breakups...the kind that involved "screaming, flailing, emotional" breakups.  Victoria mentions something about a showmance with Frankie and Zach says he is already in a showmance with him.  These two remind me of a combination of the Matt & Reagan relationship and the Dr. Will & Boogie bro-mance.  I tried to switch cameras to Caleb, but he was STILL blabbing on about Amber!

More general relationship talk from Victoria and about her expectations for a man, married life and motherhood.  Hayden and Frankie discuss their first impressions of the twists, entering the house and the like.  Devin and Frankie have an extended scene where they use pretty bad British accents.  They are all just having fun and enjoying being outside.

Several of them stayed up throughout the night.  Then there was a shift change so to speak.  Our late nighters finally decided to rest and some of those that slept got up earlier than the others in the morning.

The morning has been slow.  A lot of primping in front of mirrors and prepping for pool time.  Nothing notable going on concerning game talk.  Since they're just relaxing for now I will too and I'll be back with more soon.  If you're looking to see them while they're all still enjoying one another, you might want to watch now.  Once someone actually gets voted out the feeling might change some.

Live Feeds After the POV - Friday Afternoon

Since the POV they've all been making the rounds to talk to Caleb about the pending re-nom.  As we'd expect, they're scurrying around basically doing all they can to agree with their HOH.  It all boils down to the fact that Caleb is shrugging off the role of decision maker and telling everyone that he will go with the house majority on who they'd like to see go up in Donny's place.  It seems that most of the house guests are leaning toward Joey for the nominee.  I'm not quite sure what she did that bothered so many people, but she even agreed with Caleb that she "put herself in this situation".  If you know what she did exactly, please, let me know.  But whatever the outcome, she acts as if she is okay with it.  Does this girl not realize that she should be arguing her case about now?  Will she even try to save herself?

A lot of time is spent with Caleb speaking to people one at a time.  You'd think the ceremony is tonight the way he's running through them.

There is a lot of discussion about the competition, other words they could have spelled, and the like.  Everyone is quite aware that Cody had the letters to spell a winning word, but didn't manage to pull it off.  They can't believe that "splitters" was the winning word.

One of my biggest observations of the day has been about Frankie.  I don't know if there is anyone left he hasn't made some kind of alliance with.  It is starting to remind me a bit of Andy from last season, and I really didn't like him.  He seems to fly from one room to another like he has wings on his feet, hopping from one house guest's arms to the next.  Literally.  This guy is crawling all over everyone.  He spends equal amounts of time wallowing around on the women AND the men.  Even more shocking - the guys not only seem to not mind, they all seem to love him!

A couple of my favorite lines today:

Donny (in response to Paola) : "Derrick? Is there a guy named Derrick in here?!?!"

Cody (with Christine, but to the camera - about the POV comp) : "Our generation and auto correct!  See what you're doing to us?!?!"

I guess that will do it for now, but we'll be back with more later, so check back for a new top post!
